FAQs

Please note: Skelton Crew Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen packages

Are these official replicas?
Absolutely! Skelton Crew Studio LLC is proud to be the exclusive home of 1:1 prop replicas for "Locke & Key," published by IDW Publishing, along with other officially licensed replicas and collectibles from Mike Mignola's "Hellboy" and "B.P.R.D.," published by Dark Horse, "CHEW," "Head Lopper" and "SHIRTLESS BEAR-FIGHTER," published by Image, and many more. We also have a partnership with "The Stuff of Legend," published by Th3rd World Studios.

We're lucky, lucky people.

Can you get my (blank) signed by the writer or artist?
Sorry. With the exception of special offers during pre-order windows, that’s not possible. Most of the creators we work with keep active con schedules and we definitely recommend trying to meet them in person — they're all crazy talented and amazingly nice people to boot.

Do I have to use Pay Pal or a credit card?
You don’t. If you’d rather pay by money order, add everything to your cart, get a shipping and tax tally (applicable to Maine residents) and send your order to: Skelton Crew Studio LLC, P.O. Box 105, Litchfield, Maine 04350

Are you planning to make the (insert your favorite prop here)?
Maybe! We’re open to fan ideas, so don’t be shy, drop a note! If there’s enough demand, almost anything is possible for a run.

Do you ship internationally?
Absolutely! International orders ship USPS First Class, which comes with very limited tracking. If you'd like your order to ship USPS Priority or International Express, please contact us within an hour of placing your order and we'll invoice you for the additional charges. Unless you request and pay for insurance, we can't be held responsible for delayed, lost or damaged packages. Orders may be subject to additional customs fees or taxes in your home country that are out of our control. Sorry, we're not able to alter an item's value or mark the package as a gift.

Due to the pandemic and fewer planes in the air, we're seeing much slower overseas transit times. We've left a note on each collectible alerting customers to that and encouraging them to check out our FAQ page for shipping policies. Placing an order is an indication you've seen that note and agree to the terms.

I've pre-ordered a (blank), where is it? Or, where's the rest of my order?

Pre-ordered products are marked with the approximate ship date in the website description. If you ordered several items and only one was a pre-order, the entire order won't ship until the pre-order is ready. If you'd like to receive the other items sooner, please make that a separate order. Thanks!

Can I get a refund on my pre-order item?

Sorry, no. We use pre-order figures to steer the size of our initial runs so unfortunately, we aren't able to refund a pre-order. The only exception is if we're more than two months late in our expected ship date.

What's your store policy on return-to-sender packages?

So glad you asked! When orders arrive back to the studio due to an incorrect address, not being claimed at customs or a similar issue, we'll make every effort to reach out to the customer and reship for a new shipping charge. If the customer fails to respond to repeated emails, after a one-month wait, all items in the order go back into our inventory and you'll be issued store credit in the amount of the order minus shipping toward a future order.
